We designed our Bike Lift to be compatible with as many clamp designs as possible. The Chuck Adapter can be paired with your Park Tools 2" Chuck or a Remco Tools 2" Clamp Chuck which will allow you to use professional clamps. If you choose the Clamp Adapter, that will allow you to use Feedback Sports clamps. For a full list, check out the compatibility tables here.
Very little. We recommend checking the bolts every few months to make sure they're secure and wiping the column down with a clean rag when it's dirty. Other than that it requires nothing extra.

This is completely normal and is a result of the lubricant inside that allows it to run smoothly. We recommend you give the column a quick wipe with a clean rag.
Just like any other repair stand but instead of lifting the bike to the clamp, the clamp lowers to the height of the bike. Once the bike is clamped securely (seatpost please!) press either the up button or one of the three memory presets to put things in motion.
* It is important that the operator stays with the bike stand while it is in motion. Leaving the stand unmanned while it is moving up or down may cause serious damage and injury.
Powder coated steel. The handset has a silicone face plate and is certified to IPX4. The electronics are contained within the housing protecting them from wear and tear.
Compatibility and affordability. The Remco Tools Bike Lift works with your existing equipment and does so at a fraction of what other comparable repair stands cost.
The Bike Lift works with a wide range of bikes. It was specifically designed for mountain and city e-bikes. It can also handle most long tail cargo bikes. Unfortunately Long Johns/ Bakfiets/ Box Bikes are too unwieldy for the bike lift. You will be able to lift the rear wheel but the front wheel will need to rest on the ground. Remember, the bike lift can can handle up to 100 lb. or 45 kg.
Great question! The Bike Lift is made in Ningbo, China by one of (if not the) best company in the linear actuator business. We have been working with them since 2016 and have visited their factories multiple times. They have also passed numerous social compliance and environmental audits.
